The boy walks into the confessional.
Performs the sign of the cross with his hand.
The priest listens proudly, as the boy’s confessing begins.
“Last night I asked my father
Not to touch me again.
It feels inappropriate to me,
But I know disobedience is a sin.”
The priest walks out of the confessional.
Grabs the boy by his arm.
Says… “quiet yourself.”
