Represents coming and going. The coming from wherever you’re currently at in life. It doesn’t matter how bad you think things are now, you must get up and go forth. The only reason to look back is to see who’s coming, or to see what you’d left behind. Standing still means you have chosen your limit and have surrendered to the here and now.
The Emblem: Although we’re not perfect, we are perfectionists. Yes, we’re a little rough around the edges, but we are sharp. That’s why the Emblem is not a perfect circle, nor closed. It has rough fragments that symbolize mistakes and growth. As stated, the coming and going. The word “Pen” represents the individual transcribing voice. The silhouette is the Founder and as he describes himself: “I’m Just a storyteller coming and going.”
The Coming: is going forth from the here and now as you are: how can you learn without mistakes? How can there be growth If you don’t plant seeds, and planting seeds just means to live. To journey out and experience new things to improve your craft. The journey brings mistakes, mistakes bring knowledge, and knowledge brings growth.
The Going: Represent “The After”: after we as individual, and as a whole grow in knowledge and perfecting our craft, we go and share it with the world to help where we can. The coming and going is unending: We never stop growing in knowledge and sharing that knowledge, so we never stop coming and going. That is why the emblem is open. If we put enough work into the world and share what we’ve learned with others. In this, the coming and going will indeed be unending.
Transcribing our stories: Whatever you’ve been called to do, and to perfected, transcribe it in detail and share it with the world. Whether it be with songs, art, culinary, landscaping, communication skills, crochet and knitting, being a hair stylist, nail technician, salon owners, painters, and agriculturalist and so forth. There’s always a story to share, and experiences to teach. And this is why you’re an UnControlled Pen.
